About TQMU — The Quality Marketing Unit
We help teams get found inside AI answers. TQMU measures the signals that decide whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and AI Overviews can read, trust and cite your website.
Why generative engine optimization
Classic SEO optimises for a ranked list of links. Generative engines do something different: they retrieve passages, weigh trust signals, then synthesise one answer that names a handful of sources. If your content is not machine-readable, structured, dated and quotable, you are invisible in that answer — no matter how well you rank.
How the engine works
When you submit a URL, our backend fetches your page exactly as an AI crawler would — raw HTML, no JavaScript execution — plus your robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap. It then runs 67 deterministic parameter checks across six categories: crawlability and access, structured data, content and answerability, authority and trust, entity and brand, and technical health.
Every parameter carries a fixed impact weight from one to five stars, and every audit returns your current level from zero to five. Your overall score is the impact-weighted average, so fixing high-impact parameters moves the number most. No AI guessing, no third-party APIs — the same input always produces the same report.
What you get
- An impact-weighted GEO score and letter grade for the page you submit.
- A finding for each parameter explaining exactly what we measured.
- A specific, actionable recommendation you can hand to a developer or writer.
- A professional PDF report you can share with clients or stakeholders.
